Inline Lever/Lever

Lever Pad

Certain cylinders are made to resist snapping. This is a typical attack on cylinders. A specially designed tool is used to break the break line of the lock and then the front of the cylinder is snapped off. This is a quicker and easier way to gain access than a multipoint locking system. It also leaves no evidence of the break-in which could make it difficult to prove insurance claims.

Spring Cassette

This spring cassette is located within the base plate of your door handle. It is a spring-loaded solution to bring your multipoint lock handles to their resting position after usage. Previously a lot of these types of handle did not have a spring built into them and without this they tend to droop or 'drop' once the locking mechanism has been disengaged. This component is the best solution to solve this issue. It also helps prevent your upvc door from becoming stuck in either the closed or open position, as they are difficult to close manually.

These spring cassettes are specially designed to be used with multipoint locks sprung but they won't work with unsprung multipoint handles and you will need to have a hole specifically cut in your backplate to allow these to fit (please look at the image for a technical diagram). These cassettes are a replacement to damaged or missing cassettes on the backplate of uPVC door handles. They are available as one unit. They come with a square cut out that can accommodate an 8mm shaft.
