The best robot vacuum cleaner Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a great option if you're looking to buy a mid-range mop and robot vacuum. It's got a fantastic mopping capability, but it lacks some of the advanced features of its more expensive sibling.

In tests, it was able to handle dust and dry oats on medium-pile carpet and pet hair on hard flooring. It doesn't use LIDAR, however, like cheaper models do to map your home.

Roomba s9+ from iRobot

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is among the top-rated robots. It offers impressive cleaning power and a variety of features such as an automatic dirt bin built into its charging base. This robot can learn your cleaning habits, and suggest automatic schedules that will give you the ultimate hands-free cleaning experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the process of setting up. Once the system is set up you can begin the automated cleaning with a single button. You can select the general clean option which focuses on the elimination of larger debris such as rice and cereal. You can also select two detailed mappings to ensure that your home is cleaned thoroughly.

This robot vacuum is effective on both floors with no carpet and carpets with a low pile. It is able to pick up pet hair and clean big objects up. It doesn't lose its suction as quickly as other robot vacuums. It does have a hard time with plush or high-pile carpet, however iRobot promises it will improve in the future with new models.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot that concentrates on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted, D-shaped design, which it hopes will allow it to be able to swaddle walls and furniture. It's a nice improvement over the hockey puck-like design of robovacs, but we discovered it to be only incrementally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims that the S9+ comes with an advanced filtering system that blocks tiny dust particles and allergens from recirculating within your home. It's a nice claim, however, we're not convinced that it's enough to justify the price tag.

Its intelligent navigation system makes use of sensors to keep track of the layout of your home and vSLAM to map the interior of your home. This allows it to stay clear of obstacles like stairs and other barriers and also to clean your entire home in the most efficient manner possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and create virtual boundary markers so that the robot can determine what areas require extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a machine that is a combination of mopping and vacuuming. Its vacuum settings are as effective as those found on higher-end models. Its mopping system is better because its spinning pads scrub your floors much more effectively than the vibrating pads.

The only downside is that it lacks a second rubber brush for more thorough cleaning, but it's a small cost to pay for if you want to get one of the best robots available. The robo-vac's tank for dust is also larger than many of its competitors and takes only two or three cycles to fill it up, even with the highest dirt level.

As for the mopping device, I was awestruck with its ability to remove the tough dirt off my floors. The two lowest mopping settings, which are less powerful than high-powered ones, create low noise, which means you can work or watch television without being distracted. If it comes across the wall or a furniture piece it gently smacks into it and moves forward.

What really makes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to function almost autonomously with very little need for human intervention. The dock of the robo-vac can be multi-functional and automatically transfers trash into a hidden bin. It also cleans and dries the clean water tank. The app is adept at alerting you when something needs attention, for example, the clean water tank running low or a scheduled cleaning session having been canceled due to a full dust bin.

You can also create or combine rooms to personalize the way Q Revo manages your home. This feature is useful if you have different flooring in different areas of your home, or when you have to frequently get rid of clutter like toys, clothes and books. The robo-vac was also one of the best performers in my tests cleaning up debris from carpets as well as hardwood floors in the first go. It can even vacuum up wet spills. I suggest drying the area with a towel prior to sending it to.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a high-end robot vacuum and mop combo and more. It comes with a rotating mop and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets and hard floors. It is similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also comes with a self-cleaning base station that automatically empty and cleans the mop pads, ensuring that they remain them clean and ready for use again. It also comes with a sensor that can detect obstacles better which allows it to avoid falling on furniture and other objects.

The biggest difference over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this model has a sleeker, more modern design thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for Bang & Olufsen products). The robot is still large--it has a height of more than two feet the height and depth and weighs nearly four pounds. However the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.

This version is more efficient than the X1 as it charges faster and cleans 1,500 square feet in one charge. Additionally, it comes with a larger, more durable dustbin to hold more debris and is easier to empty it when needed.

The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant as well as an app that works even when you're not at home. It also has a smart routing function that lets it clean specific areas or rooms of your home instead of following a set path.

The X2 Omni is the most effective robot at mopping. Its rotating mop pads remove tough stains and its motor produces a lot of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is outstanding, and it also increases suction when it detects carpets to ensure thorough cleaning. It has a large rechargeable battery that can last up to seven days. The mopping mode of the robot is also very effective.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a premium mop and vacuum robot that comes with a range of convenience features you don't often see on robots in this price. It is able to build detailed floor maps, detect various flooring types and is one of the few to automatically wash and dry the mop pads. These features are nice however they can place the L10s in the luxury category. This could make it more expensive than what homeowners would need.

Designed to look like a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device that has an elegant white finish that's accented by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by an enormous bumper, which protects the vacuum and furniture from damage while moving through the house. Behind the pane at the front is a second navigation technology with sensors that help the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top, you'll find a single button that essentially serves as the on/off switch. By pressing this button, you can activate the vacuum robot, while clicking it again will shut off the vacuum and send it back to its base station. The control panel is the circular menu which lets you choose cleaning modes, schedules, and preferences. The left and right buttons on the screen will open the app's settings menu where you can alter how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

Like the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation techniques to map out your home. This allows the robot to vacuum and mop effectively without getting stuck. The LIDAR assists the robot vacuum to avoid obstacles and identify them as obstacles, which is an excellent feature for homes with pets or small children.

The L10s Ultra provides solid vacuuming performance that clears 98.4 percent of the debris from our test on the hard floor and getting rid of all but the most difficult juice stains. Its mops are efficient, removing 98.4 percent of debris from our tile, wood, and carpet tests. It was not as efficient in removing sand from our hard floor Vacuum Robot or quaker oats from the carpet.
