The best combo vacuum Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a fantastic choice if you are looking for a robot vacuum and mop that's middle-of-the-road. It's a great mopping performance but lacks some of the features that are found in its more expensive counterpart.

In tests it was able to eliminate pet hair and dry oats from carpets with a medium pile. However, unlike other models, it doesn't utilize LIDAR to map out your home.

1. Roomba S9+ from iRobot

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top robot vacuums. It is loaded with features and incredible cleaning power, including an area for dirt that is integrated into the charging base. This robot can recognize your habits for cleaning and suggest automated schedules to provide you with a truly hands-free cleaning experience.

Setup is easy, thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the process. Once the system is set up you can begin the automatic cleaning with a single button click. You can choose the general clean option that focuses on the removal of larger particles like cereal and rice. You can also opt for two thorough mappings to ensure that your home is completely cleaned.

This robot vacuum performs well on both floors with no carpet and carpets with low pile. It can remove pet hair and also suck large objects up. It doesn't lose its suction as fast as some other robot vacuums. It does have a hard time with high-pile or plush carpet, however iRobot says it will get better in the future with new models.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot, which concentrates on enhancing edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba that uses an open-fronted, flat-fronted design. The company hopes that this will allow it to fit into the furniture and walls. It's a step up from the hockey puck-shaped robovacs that are widely used however we found it only marginally superior to circular models.

iRobot also claims that the S9+ has a superior filtering system that blocks microscopic dust particles and allergens from circulating within your home. We like the claim but not enough to justify a premium price.

Its smart navigation system utilizes sensors to keep track of the arrangement of your home and vSLAM for mapping the interior. It then cleans your entire home with ease by avoiding obstacles such as stairs and other obstacles. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and set virtual boundary markers so that the robot can determine which areas need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it is about robots that combine vacuuming and mopping the Roborock Q Revo stands out. Its vacuum settings are just as good as those on more expensive models. And its mopping system is superior as its spinning pads scrub floors better than an ordinary pad that vibrates.

The only drawback is the lack of a second brush for more thorough cleaning. But that's not a big deal for those who want to own one of the best robots on the market. The dust tank of the robo-vac is bigger than most of its competitors. Filling it up takes only two or three cycles even when you've got a lot of dirt.

In terms of the mopping system, I was awestruck by its ability to scrub hard dirt off my floors. The two lowest mopping settings that are less powerful than the high-powered ones, create little noise, so you can work or watch television without being distracted. If it comes across a wall or piece of furniture it gently bumps into it and then moves on.

The Q Revo is unique in that it can run almost completely on its own, with no user involvement. The robo-vac comes with a multi-function dock that automatically transfers physical trash into the bin hidden in the background and cleans and drys the mop pads, and refills its clean water tank. The app is adept at notifying you when something needs attention, like the clean water tank running low or a scheduled vacuuming session that was cancelled due to a stuffed dust bin.

You can also create or combine rooms to alter the way Q Revo treats your home. That's a handy feature to have if you have several areas of the home with different flooring materials or there's items that need to be removed frequently, such as toys, clothes, and books. The robo-vac was also one of the best home vacuum cleaner performers in my tests, picking up debris on carpets and hardwood floors with the first pass. It can also clean up spills that are wet but I would suggest cleaning them off with a damp cloth prior to sending the robot in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum combo that comes with all the features you can need. It has an omni-rotating mop as well as a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets and hard floors. It is similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also has an automatic cleaning station that washes and empties mop pads to keep them clean and ready for reuse. It also comes with a sensor that recognizes obstacles better, allowing it to avoid falling onto furniture and other objects.

The most significant improvement over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that it has a sleeker, more modern design thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for Bang & Olufsen products). The robot is still large--it is more than two feet in height and depth and weighs in at least four pounds. However the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo and iRobot j7.

This version is more efficient than the X1 as it charges faster and can clean 1,500 square feet in a single charge. It also has a bigger and more durable dustbin that can hold more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

Additionally lastly, the X2 Omni has a more intuitive app and a voice assistant that works offline, which means you can use it even if you're not at home. It also has an intelligent routing feature that allows it to clean specific areas or rooms of your home, instead of following a predetermined path.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a premium mop and vacuum robot that comes with a variety of convenience features that you aren't likely to find on robots of this price. It has the ability to create detailed floor maps, identify different flooring types and is among the few that can automatically wash and dry the mop pads. These features are nice, but they also push the L10s into the premium category. This could make it more expensive than what homeowners want.

Designed to look like a modern floor cleaner designed to look like a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim machine with an elegant white finish accented by mirror-plated silver elements. The front of the machine is dominated by a large bumper that helps protect furniture and vacuum cleaners from damage while moving around the house. Sensors are hidden behind the front pane which helps the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

Its mops are also quite efficient, clearing 98.4 percent of debris from our tile, wood, and carpet tests. It was not as efficient in removing sand from our hard flooring or quaker oats off the carpet.
