The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is an excellent option if you're looking to buy a mid-priced mop and robot vacuum. It offers a great mopping experience, but it lacks the advanced features of its more expensive sibling.

In tests, it was able to handle dust and dry oats on medium-pile carpet and pet hair on hard floors. It doesn't employ LIDAR, however, as cheaper models do, to map your home.

Roomba s9+ from iRobot

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the most highly-rated robot vacuums. It is a powerful cleaner and a variety of features that include the self-emptying dirt container built into its charging base. This robot can recognize your habits of cleaning, and recommend automatic schedules to provide you with a truly hands-free cleaning experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once the system is set up, you can start automatic cleaning with a single button click. You can choose an overall clean that focuses on getting rid of larger pieces of debris such as cereal and rice, or opt for two detailed maps of your home to ensure your entire home is properly arranged.

This robot vacuum is effective on both bare floors and carpets with low pile. It is able to take large objects and does not lose suction as fast as some others do, and it can even clean up pet hair without much difficulty. It's a challenge with high-pile carpets or plush carpets, but iRobot says that future models will be better.

The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that focuses on improving the edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba that uses a flat-fronted D-shaped design. The company hopes that this will allow it to be able to hug walls and furniture. It's a nice change from the hockey puck-like design of robovacs, but we found it to be incrementally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims that the S9+ has a superior filtering system that stops microscopic dust particles and allergens from circulating within your home. It's a nice claim but we're not convinced it's enough to justify the high price tag.

Its intelligent navigation system makes use of sensors to store the arrangement of your home and vSLAM to map your interior of your home. This allows it to stay clear of obstacles, such as stairs and best Robot vacuum and mop other barriers and also to clean your entire house efficiently possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and set virtual boundary markers to ensure that the robot is aware of the areas that require attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a machine that is a combination of mopping and vacuuming. Its vacuum settings are as good as those found on more expensive models. Its mopping system is even better because its spinning pads scrub floors more efficiently than an ordinary pad that vibrates.

The only issue is that it lacks a second rubber brush to provide more thorough cleaning, but that's an acceptable cost to pay if are looking for one of the top robots available. The robo-vac's dust tank also larger than many of its rivals, and it takes just two or three cycles to fill it up, even with the maximum dirt level.

As for the mopping system, I was impressed by its ability to scrub hard dirt off my floors. The two mopping modes that it has that are less aggressive than the more powerful ones, create minimal noise, allowing you to work or even watch TV without distraction. If it comes across a wall or piece of furniture, it gently bumps into it and then moves forward.

What really distinguishes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to function almost completely on its own, with no need for human intervention. The dock of the robo-vac can be multi-functional and can automatically transfer garbage into a bin hidden. It also cleans and dries, as well as refills the clean water tank. The app is capable of alerting you when something needs attention, like the clean water tank running low or a scheduled cleaning session being cancelled due to a stuffed dust bin.

You can also design and merge rooms to modify how the Q Revo will treat your home. This feature is beneficial when you have different flooring in different areas of your house or when you have to frequently remove clutter, such as toys, clothes and books. The robot vacuum is also efficient and was among the top performers in my tests, picking up debris from both carpets and hardwoods in its first run. It is able to even vacuum up wet spills however I would recommend wiping them dry with a damp cloth prior to sending the robot in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd want from a high-end robot vacuum and mop and more. It has a rotating mop and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets as well as hard floors. It's akin to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also comes with an auto-cleaning base station that automatically cleans and Best Robot Vacuum and Mop empty the mop pads, keeping them clean and ready for use again. It also features a new sensor system that is able to better recognizes obstacles, giving it the ability to prevent falling over furniture or other objects.

The most significant improvement over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this version has a sleeker, more modern design due to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for Bang & Olufsen products). While still quite massive--it's nearly two feet tall and deep and weighs in excess of four pounds--the entire robot and its base are less bulky than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot j7.

This version is also more efficient than the X1 one, because it has a faster charging speed for batteries and can complete a cleaning of about 1,500 square feet in one charge. Additionally, it comes with a larger, more durable dustbin to hold more debris which makes it easier to empty when needed.

The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant and an app that works even when you're not at home. It also has a smart robot vacuum routing function that lets it clean specific rooms or areas of your home, instead of following a predetermined route.

The Omni Omni has the best mopping performance of any robot we've tested due to its mop pads that rotate to clean tough stains away and a motor that generates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming is excellent as well and it increases suction when it detects carpet to ensure it's doing a thorough job. It is equipped with a large rechargeable battery that lasts up to seven days. The mopping mode of the robot is also powerful.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a high-end model that offers a number of convenience features not often found on robots of this price. It is able to build precise floor maps, recognize different types of flooring and is among the few robots that automatically wash and dry its mop pads. These features are great however they can push the L10s into the class of luxury. This could make it more expensive than what homeowners would need.

Created to look like a modern floor cleaner The L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device with an elegant white finish accented by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine features an impressive bumper that protects the furniture and vacuum cleaner when you are moving around your home. Sensors are concealed behind the front panel, which helps the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top, you'll find one button that is a switch for on and off. This button will turn on the vacuum. If you click it again, it will turn it off and send it back to its base station. The circular menu in the middle of the control panel allows you to select cleaning modes, schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons beneath the screen will bring up the settings menu in which you can tweak how the L10s Ultra works with your home.

The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination LIDAR and cameras-based navigation technology to map your home. This produces a precise floor plan that enables the robot vacuum and mop with ease and avoid getting stuck in messy areas. The LIDAR also lets the robot vacuum to recognize and avoid obstacles, which is a nice feature for families with children or pets.

The L10s Ultra provides solid vacuuming performance that clears 98.4% of debris from our test on the hard floor and getting rid of all but the most stubborn juice stain. Its mops also perform well in removing 98.4% debris from our carpet, tile, and wood tests. However, it wasn't quite as efficient in dealing with sand on the hard floor and Quaker oats on carpet.
