The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a good choice if you're looking for a mid-range mop and robot vacuum. It offers a great mopping experience, but it lacks the advanced features of its more expensive counterpart.

In tests, it was able to handle dust and dry oats on carpets of medium pile and pet hair on hard floors. It doesn't use LIDAR, Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo however, like cheaper models do to map your home.

1. Roomba S9+ from iRobot

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top-rated cheap robot vacuum cleaner vacuums. It is loaded with features and impressive cleaning power, such as an area for dirt that is integrated into the base of charging. This robot can learn your habits of cleaning, and suggest automatic schedules to give you the ultimate hands-free cleaning experience.

Setup is easy, thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the process. Once the system is set up, you can start cleaning automatically with just one button click. You can choose a general clean, which prioritizes the removal of larger debris such as rice and cereal. Or you can opt for two thorough mappings to ensure that your entire home is cleaned thoroughly.

This robot vacuum is effective on both bare floors and carpets with low pile. It is able to pick up pet hair and clean big objects up. It doesn't lose its suction as quickly as other robot vacuums. It has a difficult time with plush or high-pile carpet, however iRobot says it will improve with future models.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot that concentrates on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It's the very first Roomba that adopts a flat-fronted D-shaped design. The company hopes this will allow it to fit into furniture and walls. It's a significant improvement over hockey puck-shaped robovacs that are widely used, but we found it to be just marginally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also features superior filtration, which prevents tiny particles and allergens from circulating within your home. It's a nice premise, however, we're not convinced that it's enough to justify the premium price price.

Its intelligent navigation system makes use of sensors to keep track of the layout of your home and vSLAM for mapping the interior. This allows it to steer clear of obstacles like stairs and other barriers and also to clean your entire house in the most efficient manner possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and set virtual boundaries to ensure that the robot is aware of which areas need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it is about robots that can combine mopping and vacuuming the Roborock Q Revo stands out. Its vacuum settings are as effective as those on more expensive models, and its mopping system is better still--its spinning pads do a much more impressive job of scrubbing your floors than a stationary vibration pad.

The only issue is that it lacks an additional rubber brush for more thorough cleaning, but it's an acceptable cost to pay if want to get one of the best robots on the market. The dust tank of the robo-vac is bigger than most of its competitors. Filling it up only takes two or three cycles even when you have maximum dirt.

In terms of the mopping system, I was awestruck by its ability to scrub tough dirt off my floors. The two mopping settings that it has which are less powerful than the high-powered modes, produce very minimal noise, meaning you can work or watch television without being distracted. If it comes across the wall or a furniture piece, it gently bumps into it and then moves forward.

The Q Revo is unique in that it operates almost completely on its own, with no user involvement. The robo-vac has a multifunction dock that can automatically transfer physical trash to the bin hidden from view and also washes and drys mop pads and replenishes its clean water tank. The app is good at nagging you only when something needs attention, such as the clean water tank running low or a scheduled vacuuming session being cancelled due to a stuffed dust bin.

You can also create and combine actual rooms to customize how the Q Revo will treat your home. This is an excellent feature if you have multiple rooms in your home that have different flooring materials or there's a lot of clutter that needs to be removed frequently, like toys, clothes and books. The robo-vac was also one of the best performers in my tests cleaning up debris from carpets and hardwood floors on the first pass. It can vacuum up even wet spills. I recommend drying the area with a towel prior to sending it to.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum that comes with all the features you can want. It has an omni-rotating mop as well as a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets and hard floors. It's similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also comes with an automatic cleaning station that washes and empties mop pads to keep them clean and ready for reuse. It also features a new sensor system that can better detects obstacles, giving it the ability to avoid falling over furniture and other objects.

The biggest difference over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this model has a sleeker, more modern design due to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for Bang & Olufsen products). The robot is still big. It measures over two feet in both height and depth, and weighs in at least four pounds. However the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo and iRobot J7.

This model is also more efficient than the X1 one, because it has a faster charging speed for batteries and can handle a complete cleaning of about 1,500 square feet in one charge. It also has a bigger and more robust dustbin that can store more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

Finally lastly, the X2 Omni has a more intuitive app as well as a voice assistant that works offline, so you can use it even if you're not home robot vacuum. It also has more mopping modes and an intelligent routing feature that allows you to clean specific rooms or areas of your home instead of just following a set route.

The Omni Omni has the best mopping performance of any robot we've tested, thanks to its mop pads rotating to remove tough stains and a motor that creates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is outstanding, and it also increases suction when it senses a carpet to ensure a thorough cleaning. It also has a massive battery that can last for weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as efficient as the ones we've seen on the market for a consumer robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot mop and vacuum is a premium model that has a range of convenience features not often found on robots in this price range. It is able to build detailed floor maps, detect different flooring types and is one of the few to automatically wash and dry the mop pads. Although these features are useful, they also put the L10s Ultra in the category of luxury which could make it somewhat more expensive than some homeowners require.

It is designed to look like a contemporary floor cleaner The L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device with an elegant white finish that's highlighted by mirror-plated silver elements. The front of the machine features an enormous bumper that shields the furniture and vacuum cleaner when you are moving around your home. Sensors are hidden behind the front pane, which help the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top, there's a single button that essentially serves as the on/off switch. Pressing this will activate the vacuum, while clicking it again will shut off the vacuum and send it back to its base station. The central control panel includes the circular menu which lets you choose cleaning modes, schedules, and preferences. The left and right buttons open the app's settings which allow you to customize how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination of LIDAR and cameras-based navigation technology to map out your home. This creates a detailed floor plan that helps the robot vacuum and mop effectively, without getting stuck in messy areas. The LIDAR assists the robot vacuum to avoid obstacles and recognize them, which is an excellent feature for homes with pets or children.

The L10s Ultra has a solid vacuuming capability that clears 98.4 percent of the debris from our hard-floor test and removing all but the most difficult juice stains. Its mops are efficient, taking away 98.4 percent of the debris that was found on our tile, wood, and carpet tests. It was not as efficient in removing sand from our hard floor or quaker oats from the carpet.
